House cleaning in Oakville

South of the QEW, Oakville’s oldest streets run down to the lake, with Victorian and Edwardian houses around Navy Street and Trafalgar Road and large lakeside homes along Lakeshore Road East. North of the highway the town turns to the crescents of Iroquois Ridge, College Park and Glen Abbey, and above Dundas Street whole new neighbourhoods are still filling in.

Homes this different need different visits. A century house after a renovation and a new build with its first scuffs don’t call for the same clean, so we plan yours from what you tell us when you book, down to the rooms you want done first. You see the price upfront, based on your home and the clean you choose, and professional supplies and equipment come with every visit.

Homes in Oakville

Oakville homes, lake to Dundas

Oakville's homes change as you travel north from the lake. Old Oakville keeps Victorian and Edwardian houses near downtown, with large homes along Lakeshore Road. The crescents of Iroquois Ridge, College Park and Glen Abbey hold two-storey family homes from the 1970s onward, and north of Dundas Street new neighbourhoods are still being built.

  • Large homes by the lake

The larger houses near the lake can have many bathrooms, wide staircases and big windows. A second cleaner joins longer jobs, and a deep clean every few months reaches the trim, vents and range hood that regular visits leave for later.

  • Driveways, gates and garages

Nearly every Oakville house has a driveway, and some have gates. Share the gate or garage code, the door to use and any alarm or pet details in your booking notes, and your cleaner can let themselves in while you're out.

  • First cleans in new builds

New homes north of Dundas are handed over with construction dust still settling. Once the builder's work is done, a post-construction clean takes care of it, and regular visits keep the new house looking the way it did on the first day.

How we clean Oakville homes

Regular cleaning

Regular cleaning for Iroquois Ridge and College Park

Family houses in Iroquois Ridge, College Park and Falgarwood carry a full household’s week: lunches packed at the island, hockey bags by the side door, bathrooms shared before school. A regular clean resets it weekly or every other week, from counters, cabinet fronts and the microwave to tubs, toilets and mirrors, with beds made and every floor vacuumed and mopped. Keep it on the calendar and save up to 15% with a recurring plan.

Deep cleaning

Deep cleaning for large homes in Eastlake

Large houses near the lake have more of everything: more baseboard to dry-clean, more vents and door frames, bigger range hoods and several bathrooms with tubs that collect stains. A deep clean covers all of it on top of the regular checklist and reaches under furniture as well. For longer jobs a second cleaner joins, and you can add the inside of the oven or fridge as extras.

Move-in/out cleaning

Move-in cleaning for new homes north of Dundas

New subdivisions north of Dundas Street hand over homes that still need a proper first clean. Once the builder’s clean-up is done, a move-in clean gives the empty house deep-clean coverage, ceiling fans included, before the boxes arrive, and you can add the inside of the cabinets if you’d like the shelves wiped too. Selling in Old Oakville instead? The same service leaves your house ready for its buyers.

Post-construction cleaning

Post-renovation cleaning in Old Oakville

Updating a century home near downtown Oakville usually means drywall, sanding and new millwork, and fine dust finds its way into rooms the contractor never touched. Post-construction cleaning clears it from ledges, cabinetry, fixtures and floors once the trades have packed up and the debris is gone, so the house finally feels finished. Regular visits can take over from there.

Our new home north of Dundas still has construction dust. Is a move-in clean enough?
Not while drywall dust is still everywhere; post-construction cleaning is the right call once the trades are done. If the builder has already cleaned and the house is empty, a move-in clean is usually enough to get it ready for your furniture.
Our Glen Abbey home backs onto the trails, and the dog tracks mud inside. Do we need an extra?
Only if your dog sheds a lot. Muddy paw prints are part of the job: each regular visit vacuums and mops every floor. For a heavy shedder, add the pet-hair extra when you book.
