Yes. Walk through the empty rooms before you hand over the keys, and if anything was missed, tell us within 24 hours: we’ll come back within 5 days to re-clean it, at no cost. It covers the tasks and extras you booked.
What’s included in a move-in or move-out clean?
Every room of the empty home, top to bottom: living areas and bedrooms, with the closet doors wiped, the baseboards dusted, and the door frames, vents and fans wiped. In the kitchen and bathrooms we deep clean the sinks, vent filters, toilets, showers, tubs and countertops, and wipe the outside of the stove, fridge, dishwasher and cupboards. The inside of appliances, cupboards, drawers and closets can be added.
How is a move clean different from a regular clean?
It’s more thorough, and it’s done in an empty home. Beyond the regular upkeep, it reaches the baseboards, vents, fans, door frames, window sills and under the appliances, so the home is ready for its next chapter.
Do I need to leave supplies for the move clean?
Nothing at all. Everything your cleaner needs comes with them, professional products and equipment included, so an empty home is all we need.
How long does a move clean take?
It depends on the home’s size and condition. Your estimated time appears on the booking form before you book, with a 3-hour minimum per booking, and bigger move cleans, about 4–5 hours or more, get a second cleaner so the home is ready sooner.
When’s the best time to book a move clean?
When the home is empty: after you move out, or before your furniture arrives, so every room and surface can be reached. Choose your time as you book, around your key handover and any elevator booking.
Can you remove marks on the walls?
Yes, most everyday marks and scuffs. Spot-cleaning walls is part of every move clean, and you can add full interior wall washing when you book.
Can you clean inside the cabinets and closets?
Yes, as an add-on. Choose it when you book and your cleaner will clear the dust and crumbs from every shelf and drawer, ready for the next person to unpack.
How much does a move-in or move-out clean cost?
From $224 before HST for a studio or 1 bedroom home under 600 sq ft, $287 for 2 bedrooms, $367 for 3 bedrooms and $458 for 4 bedrooms, 3 baths of 2,000 to 2,499 sq ft; the booking form prices larger homes. You see your price upfront, based on the home’s size and any extras, and all our rates are on the pricing page. The price reflects the time the home needs, charged by the hour with a 3-hour minimum per booking.
Can you work from my landlord’s checklist?
Yes. Share your landlord’s or property manager’s checklist in your booking notes and we’ll plan the clean around it. If it lists extras, such as inside the oven or fridge, add them when you book so they’re included in your price.
Do you clean the windows during a move clean?
Yes: the window sills and frames on every move clean, and the glass as an add-on you can choose when you book.
Do I need to be there for the move clean?
No, and many clients aren’t: they arrange access, carry on with the move and come back to a finished home. Add entry details and lock-up instructions to your booking, such as a key with the concierge or in a lockbox.
What if the home needs extra work?
Tell us when you book. Note any heavy build-up or stubborn stains in your booking, and add the pet-hair extra if a pet that sheds a lot lived there, so your cleaner arrives prepared.
Is payment due when I book my move clean?
No, there’s no upfront payment. We hold your card to reserve your move clean and charge it on cleaning day.
Can you clean both my old home and my new one?
Yes, if both are in our service area: book a move-out clean for the home you’re leaving and a move-in clean for the new one. We clean across Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham and the rest of the GTA.
