Etobicoke's homes follow its history. The south end has older brick houses and a wall of newer condo towers along the lake. The middle belongs to post-war crescents lined with side-splits, back-splits and ranch bungalows on generous lots. In the far north-west, subdivisions from the last few decades fill in around Humberwood.
A side-split spreads its rooms over four short levels, so a clean moves up and down half-flights all visit long. Your cleaner works level by level, and the rec room, laundry area and lower bathroom are included when you add them to the booking.
