How often should I book a deep clean?
About every six months keeps a home in great shape, and it’s the right call whenever your home hasn’t had a professional clean in over a month, before a special occasion or after a large event.
How long does a deep clean take?
Longer than a regular visit, since it reaches so much more. The booking form shows the estimated time for your home before you book, and every booking has a 3-hour minimum. Deep cleans that run about 4–5 hours or more get a second cleaner, so the work finishes sooner.
How should I prepare for a deep clean?
A quick tidy is all it takes. Put away clutter and personal items so your cleaner can focus on the deep-clean tasks, and add any areas to focus on, or special instructions, to your booking notes.
What products do you use on a deep clean?
Professional products and equipment, brought by your cleaner and suited to each surface. Eco-friendly products are brought on request when you ask before your clean, and if you’d like a product of your own used, leave it out with a note.
Can I choose what the deep clean focuses on?
Yes. Tell us the rooms and details that matter most in your booking notes, such as the kitchen, the bathrooms or a guest room, and add extras like interior windows or the inside of the fridge. We’ll tailor the clean around them.
How much does a deep clean cost?
From $259 before HST for a studio or 1 bedroom home under 600 sq ft, and $563.50 for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home of 2,000 to 2,499 sq ft; the booking form prices larger homes. You see your price upfront as you book, based on your home’s size and any extras you choose, and all our rates are on the pricing page. Behind that price is the time your home needs: cleaning is charged by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum per booking.
Is a deep clean covered by your re-clean guarantee?
Yes. Every task and extra you booked is covered, from the baseboards to the range hood: tell us within 24 hours of your deep clean and we’ll be back within 5 days to re-clean anything we missed, at no cost.
Can you deep clean while I’m at work?
Yes. Add entry details to your booking, such as a concierge, a lockbox or a door code, along with how to lock up, and come home to the finished result.
Do homes with pets cost more?
Only if your pet sheds a lot: then add the pet-hair extra when you book, so the extra work is part of your price. Otherwise there’s no additional charge for homes with pets, and our cleaners are happy to work around them.
Can I reschedule my deep clean?
Yes. Changes are free with at least 48 hours’ notice, and our cancellation policy explains later changes.
